I've been having issues of the artistic kind. I thought I'd have all this time to paint this summer, but I got a full-time job that keeps me busy, and haven't painted a thing. Yet somehow my utter lack of time hasn't stopped me from churning out fanart - hmm.

I'm going to school to be a painter because I want to. This job has been a good influence, money aside, because it quashed any and all thoughts of dropping out of college from my head, forever. But when I get a spare minute for art? This is the conversation I have with myself.

My Smart Half: Oh look - spare time! We should make a painting, or something that could conceivably pass for art, so maybe we won't have to be homeless when we grow up.

My Stupid Half (it's a lot bigger than the Smart Half): wut?? no - omg did u just c that epusoad of lyfe on marz like sam an geen r sooo purfikt fer each uver they wantz to git mareed and hav a thousund childrins!!!11 were gunna draw them makin owt, to commemerayt deyr twu wuv an eeturnuhl passhunnnz.

Smart Half: But - but -

Stupid Half: shuddup!!!!11 were doin it now or i'll beet u upppp an starve u an laff!!111

That's really how it goes every time. ....Anyone else have this issue?

And now, for something less tl;dr!

* Just got into Life On Mars. I have a list on Stickies right now with a list of nine Sam/Gene pic ideas. For their love is true and passionate, and blazes like a thousand suns. xD

* Going to see Wicked for the third time next weekend! With my sister, who hasn't seen it yet, so I'm super excited.

* I don't know if anyone is even going to see this, but I'm wondering - would anyone be interested if I said I was open for a commission or two?

* Last but not least, I'm pretty sure I've replied to everyone, but still want to thank everyone that has commented/collected/faved me. I really, truly appreciate it! :]
